To coincide with the National Stroke Prevention Week, ECON Medicare Centre celebrated its first anniversary on 28 October 2001 by organizing an Open House which included a healthcare seminar and free health screening for the public.
Healthcare Goes Public
On 11 December 2002, ECON Healthcare Limited,(now known as China Healthcare) became a public-listed company on the Singapore Stock Exchange.

Best Nursing Staff Award
On 25th May 2001, the Rotary Club of Singapore East presented Best Nursing Staff Awards to deserving employees or volunteers who are involved in the caring for senior citizens in the Nursing Homes. The winners of the awards were chosen from a total of 48 Nursing Homes in Singapore, ECON was honored to receive 5 out of the 11 Best Nursing Staff Awards.
